FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Learn about my process, gear, and business
Q: WHAT CAMERA DO YOU USE?
A: I currently own a Canon EOS 60D, but actually use my mother's Canon EOS 6D for most shoots!
Q: WHICH LENSES DO YOU USE THE MOST?
A: I always bring a 50 mm f/1.4 and a 70-200 mm f/2.8 to my portrait sessions, and I use the basic 24-105 mm kit lens for larger group shots.
Q: WHAT TIME DO YOU USUALLY HAVE YOUR SHOOTS?
A: I like to schedule my shoots for evening and morning golden hours, I love utilizing sunset/sunrise lighting, and golden, orange tones are my favorite and a necessity to my style.
Q: WHAT DO I WEAR TO MY SHOOT?
A: I get this question a TON, and my best tip is to wear something that you feel like your best self in. It's best not to wear something that makes you feel uncomfortable; I want your shoot be as natural and fun as possible.
Q: HOW DO I BOOK A SHOOT?
A: The easiest way to book a shoot with me is to start by filling out the contact form here on my website. From there, I'll send you an initial email and we can move on from there!
Q: DO YOU CHARGE FEES FOR TRAVELING/HAVE ANY TRAVELING LIMITS?
A: I charge $ 0.75 per mile extra if I drive anywhere more than 40 miles away from Fort Benton, MT. For example, if you are located in Conrad, MT (which is 64 miles away from Fort Benton), I would charge $18.00 x 2 for the round trip, so $36.00 in total. Great Falls is no extra fee!
Q: HOW MANY PHOTOS CAN I EXPECT IN MY GALLERY?
A: You can expect these numbers:
30 minute shoot: around 20 images
1 hour shoot: around 40 images
1 hour 30 minute shoot: around 60 images
Q: WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT FROM OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS?
A: You'll have to answer that for me! I do try my best to differentiate each and every client's shoot from the others, but I genuinely have a fun time doing my job. I am also a high school student jump-starting my own business!
